Basic Nutrition

The standard for determining whether you are at a healthy weight is the Body Mass Index (BMI). The BMI takes into account height and weight to produce a number which fits into one of four categories: underweight, normal, overweight, or obese.

The formula the BMI calculation is: [weight (lb) / height (in) / height (in)] x 703
